They will be for children with physical disabilities who arrive at spas in the southern area of the Mar del Plata coast
The referent of that ministerial portfolio in the city of Mar del Plata, Diego García, who maintains a relationship with our cooperative, was once again present here and referred to the labor proposal that was born from an idea of a group of lifeguards.
Interview with Diego Garcia
The truth is that seeing how you have been working, since last year, in relation to the different workshops that you have here, we had a proposal, from some colleagues who are lifeguards, in the southern area of the Chapadmalal resort, where the hotels are, for the construction of amphibious chairs for people with disabilities.
They made us the proposal to work on it with the ministry, I thought it was good, and that's when the light bulb went on for us to work with Liberté, knowing about the work and the social commitment they have, to be able to propose to you the chairs that you can later enjoy with the boys who go to the city in the summer.
Regarding the meeting with the coordinators of our space, he said, there was a consensus, and it seems to me that we must continue building this type of initiative, the city does not have accessible spas, it is an excellent initiative of the fellow lifeguards of the southern zone, nucleated in the UGA group, and it seems to me that it is also good to do it with you, that society knows what you are doing from here.
Finally, he congratulated for what is being done here, chicken coop, greenhouse and many other things, and invited many prisons in the country to copy Liberté's model.
