Members of the Cooperatives Minga and La Redacción, visited us to strengthen ties, but also to carry out training related to economic, social and solidarity.
One of the referents of the Minga Educators Cooperative, which is established in the city of Mar del Plata, spoke with us after the first class of this study.
One of the two members who visited us from Cooperativa Minga, tells us that La Redacción was the one who proposed training Liberté, an apprenticeship based on the social and solidarity economy.
He also said that the entity La Redacción, a cooperative, in the possibility of occupying its surplus, which corresponds to training, to provide it to another cooperative entity, in this case Liberté, that is, Cooperativa Minga, is contracted by the aforementioned cooperative to comply with this important and cooperative step.
He also explains that they are a cooperative of educators to give training, they are linked in different projects with the Cooperativa de La Redacción, and we loved the proposal because to talk about this that we come from doing at the university, secondary schools, what cooperativism means, doing it in the penitentiary unit was for us a learning process more than a training one, so we joined from the place, he pointed out to us.
In this first meeting there were two associates of the Cooperativa La Redacción, Julia and Luciano, who in addition to being a cooperative in that sense are the ones who manage the news portal, Qué digital, and Lucas Promechev, who is a member of the extension and economy group solidarity, and the Minga Cooperative that together from now on will provide training to Liberté, which must extend over the space of six meetings
