During the last meeting of the prevention cabinet, under the coordination of the penitentiary Social Worker, Nancy Caballero, and in the presence of the referents of different pavilions that make up unit 15, the Director of Region V was present as a guest. , Mar del Plata header, Laura Lukowski, the occasion served to explain the scope of the employer's work for the released.

In dialogue with Liberté, Lukowski, I offer aspects of the meeting:

POSPE scope explanations

We were explaining the Post Penitentiary Program for Social Inclusion (POSPE), it is the post-penitentiary program, and that it can be processed prior to the release of the person or before it is completed and, above all, the importance of working with the free environment, that articulation when the person is linked to the environment with his family with his community, and linking us with spaces of belonging that seems to me to be the key for that person to meet again, have references and that also makes our work more comprehensive .

Other programs

We also have, within the INTEGRATE programs, there is the solidarity credit, where a program is processed where once it is granted, work tools are given to that person, (currently an amount of seventy-five thousand pesos), and also for women with children who have a house arrest, there is a program called MADRES, which consists of granting a one-time financial aid of twenty-one thousand pesos and that is processed before the board of trustees, we also have a program called FORMAR , which had a first call last year and now we are close to the new call and the idea is to accompany the project that is done here at Liberté and although there is no established launch date yet, we are already thinking about how to launch it.

Femicide of the Miramarense social worker

Yesterday marked the 9th anniversary of the femicide of Laura Iglesias, (May 29), for which, at a later date, the workers of the Patronato de Liberados, in Mar del Plata, find themselves on strike, precisely because of the struggle of the working conditions, what we are doing is, today here, in this unit, precisely today, showing the work that the Board of Trustees does, and Laura was very committed to the work she did, so it is also a way to commemorate her commitment with people who are in conflict with criminal law.

The most important thing that we have been explaining here is that the Board alone cannot, that the church alone cannot, that the Penitentiary Service alone cannot.

We are always working on this, on being able to work together, for that person who leaves in freedom feels free, and for that it is important that we all be there being part of it.

On immediate needs of the released

We also articulate a lot with the registry of people, for example in this meeting the issue of documents was discussed, then the board of trustees, which has a link with the Registry of people, delivers a form so that the interested person can go and process your DNI free of charge, we also articulate with the parts of Health in the free environment, so all that issue, of articulation and access to rights, it is very important that it be discussed as it was done on this occasion.
