Going through the different sections of Cooperativa Liberté, we find the carpentry sector, where Cristian works, who, when approaching it journalistically, tells us about how he came to our cooperative space almost six months ago and immediately shows us some work done by him in this workshop.
The work consists of making tables that are made of wood, folding, easy to transport, when they are not used they fold and do not take up space, the ability is manifested in this work, but also the spirit, the desire to do positive things to help now and maybe even in the future when freedom calls.
Cristian tells us about how he got to Liberté, and mentions having spent a period of time without going anywhere, being confined to the pavilion, which favors emotional and psychic imbalances.
But finally he overcomes this negative situation, he remarks that the support of his family was essential for this, and he arrives at Liberté and his first task was to work in the organic garden.
He was only there for a while, since after seeing that there was carpentry machinery, he asked to be given the opportunity to use it for specific tasks and from there he managed to develop the model of a table that he consulted in advance in the web world. .
He says that his job is construction and when he is released he will be looking for the possibility of carrying out that task, although he does not rule out the possibility of doing carpentry in the event that he cannot do his basic job.
He underlines the importance of the opportunities offered by the Liberté Cooperative with its different work sections.
Finally, he mentions that Liberté is a space in which one finds friendship, people with whom one can have a dialogue, share a mate, a work area, specifically Liberté for him, as well as for the majority of those who accept it, It is a space for change in people.
