It took place in our library with the presence of numerous members of Liberté and where two professors from the University of Health Sciences and Social Work, for more than two hours, provided knowledge of CPR.
The professor, specialized in health, Matías Leda, spoke with us, at the end of the educational day, in this workshop, which corresponds to the third class, of the chair organized by the extension secretary of the University of Health Sciences and Social Work , dependent on the National University of Mar del Plata and Liberté.
Leda, said that: today we gave a class on CPR, and on the Heimlich maneuver, which is going to be useful when someone chokes or drowns, and the idea of this is to give them some tools so that in any case that arises, such as cardio respiratory arrest, know how to act, and how to act in a timely manner, there was a great turnout, and I am very grateful for having been invited.
There were many questions, doubts, and we were able to demystify old popular beliefs that are not as they are said or interpreted, so we were able to evacuate those doubts, there was a lot of interest, and a great participation.
I really loved coming and in fact, I offered them to come back, to repeat the lecture, because the truth is that although the attendance was very high among those who work in different jobs here, but for reasons of time or other commitments, many others could not to be and the interest is that this knowledge reaches more people.
On this occasion, Leda said, I was accompanied by Ana Galvagni, who is also a professor at the Faculty, and Luciana Patiño, who works as the extension secretary.
