A couple of years ago, when Liberté began to grow and expand and it was difficult for us to cover the maintenance costs of the spaces we were gaining, Mario told us "Liberté has to support itself financially" and, inspired by his trip to Uruguay, he thought of a Pallet Factory and the machines that are today in Liberté and in a warehouse were managed.

The warehouse, in addition to being the only one self-managed by prisoners, today with its surpluses we have been able to recondition the new and previous spaces that are part of the liberté territory: painting, electrical installations, computers, gas, broadband, cell phone, landline telephone, machines, spare parts, repairs, landscaping, setting, multimedia classroom and financial aid for workers and much more.

The store was Mario's idea, the seed capital to start is a loan from Pensamiento Penal.

Thanks to Pensamiento Penal, today Liberté is growing by leaps and bounds, largely due to the impetus they gave us.

Of course we cannot fail to mention the assistance of other organizations and individuals who accompany us, collaborate and work as equals.

Thanks,
We are Cooperativa Liberté, 1st Board of Directors 100% prisoners.
