Thus, in this way, a member of the prison staff who works in our cooperative entity expressed himself about it.

His name is Juan, he has been a prisoner in unit 15 for some time now and he has been in Liberté for six months and he says he feels comfortable in the space and is grateful for this opportunity to be working, he was in the fifth of the place working, where he says he poured his lifelong knowledge of the field and is now in the sewing workshop of the cooperative where he is trained to grow in learning.
He points out that this is a quiet space where, in addition to working and having a good time, one can also learn from the different training courses offered daily at Liberté.
It makes me happy that here I can wear country clothes where I lived, grew up, always worked and I am not going to say that it is the same here, but at least I can walk that way, all in all I am quite well and grateful for this possibility.
I remember that my grandmother used to sew outside, as a method of sustaining life and I always accompanied her, hence she watched her and over time she also practiced some clothing sewing.
In the sewing workshop I adapted immediately after leaving the garden and I already made vests, berets, winter hats, scarves and with that I am looking for it.
Nowhere in prison have I had the freedoms and possibilities to do things like here in Liberté, there is also a good camaraderie, I get along with everyone.
Liberté is like being on the street, I can work, study, find friends, spend nice moments, you can really express what you feel, you are free.
