Sistema de integración humana basado en música, movimiento y vínculo grupal que promueve el desarrollo afectivo, la expresión y el bienestar.
Biodanza is a human development system created by Chilean psychologist Rolando Toro in the 1960s. It combines selected music, body movement, and group encounter to stimulate vital functions such as affectivity, creativity, vitality, and the capacity to connect with others.
In contexts of confinement, biodanza takes on a special dimension: it allows incarcerated people to reconnect with their bodies, their emotions, and their network of relationships in a space of trust and non-judgment. Those who lead the sessions are known as facilitators, and may be either outside professionals or people trained within the unit itself.
