July 9, 2022
First restaurant in the world entirely managed by incarcerated people. A successful restorative project that operated for 14 months inside the Batán penitentiary, from July 9, 2022 to September 4, 2023.

A cooperative of people in prison, victims of crime and of society, and formerly incarcerated people coordinates university diploma programs accredited by UNMdP from inside Penitentiary Unit N°15 in Batán. Two active tracks: Citizen Security (5 cohorts since 2021) and Food Sovereignty (2 cohorts since 2025). The entire teaching faculty works voluntarily and pro bono.

Liberté's Community Intelligence: an AI born inside a prison —more than a year and a half before ChatGPT existed—, developed by VERUMax and curated by Liberté's human team. She started taking store orders over WhatsApp; today she answers in any language, issues certificates and helps out at Universidad Liberté.

The first of its kind held inside a prison: victims, incarcerated people, people who have been released, family members, and professional marathon runners all racing together in the same event. Two editions completed (2019 and 2022), with a third in preparation.
