Presentation

The right to mental health in the context of confinement

El Liberté Mental Health Program provides mental health care, treatment, and support to people in prison and, progressively, to their families. It operates exclusively thanks to Liberté connectivity, which enables therapeutic sessions via videoconference from Batán.

The Cooperativa Liberté sustains the program with its own resources and community contributions, and with the dedication of mental health professionals who offer their time at solidarity rates. The Asociación Mutual Intercooperativa (Mutual AMI) handles the administrative coordination of fee management. Idea and coordination: Ricardo Augman, MSc.

"Technology becomes an indispensable bridge between those who need care and those who can provide it."
