The provincial director of prison policies was in Liberté and supported self-management
Liberté received a visit from the provincial director of Penitentiary Policy and Management, Dina Rossi, dependent on the Ministry of Justice of the province of Buenos Aires, she did so in the company of her collaborators.
The tour, projected from La Plata, was aimed at the Batán prison complex. We were, said the official, talking with the colleagues here in Liberté, who told us about the operation of the warehouse, about the workshops they have, we shared a moment, we greeted the staff and we learned about the various tasks, quoted the pcial director.

Liberté replication: a prisoner cooperative operates in Concordia
Penitentiary Unit No. 3, for men, is located in the town of Concordia, province of Entre Ríos. A cooperative of local prisoners has started operating there a short time ago.
In dialogue with Mr. Maximiliano Silvero, who is the educational coordinator of the aforementioned unit, Prensa Liberté, he was able to learn details of this cooperative venture, where local prisoners who make wooden handicrafts began a path of change for their lives.
Maximiliano begins this dialogue by telling us that at the beginning of October 2021, they begin to shape the project, convening the group of interns, working on its formation and clearing up some doubts. He cites that activities began, under the structure of a work cooperative, before receiving the corresponding registration.

They verified the self-management and permanent development of our productive pole.
A group of cooperative experts arrived in our Liberté territory, who after making a tour of the interior of the space, positively analyzed the work of our entity.
This is José Hernán Orbaiceta, honorary director of Cooperar, former member of the INAES directory for Cooperar and member of the Cooperating Cooperative Municipalities network together with Marita Suárez (ACCEL - Fecootra), promoter of Cooperativism with PPL and Liberated.
