He is 74 years old, comes from Misiones, and spent his whole life working in construction. Since July 2022 he has been part of Liberté, where he found community, purpose, and the ducks at the pond that come to eat right out of his hand.
Punto de Paz: the world's first restaurant run by incarcerated people
Punto de Paz, inaugurated in 2022 at Unidad Penal N°15 in Batán, is the world's first restaurant managed entirely by incarcerated people, while also promoting restorative justice by bringing together victims and offenders in a space for encounter and healing.

The Restaurante Punto de Paz, managed by incarcerated people at the Batán prison, was inaugurated at a ceremony that brought together victims and authorities, promoting reconciliation and the strengthening of relationships between victims and incarcerated people in a space that also functions as a social reintegration workshop.
